The Normandy landing operation is a strategy of Allied Forces done on June 6, 1944 of the World War II inside. The formal nomenclature of the strategy is overload (overlord) operation (Operation Overlord). It was invasion operations to Western Europe having been occupied by Nazi Germany. Strength near by three million people went over the Strait of Dover and it landed on Normandy in the Tin Tin peninsula in France. It is a largest-ever landing operation, and the landing operation of the scale that 60 years pass from the strategy that still exceeds this is not done.
(ノルマンディー上陸作戦は、第二次世界大戦中の1944年6月6日に行われた連合軍の作戦。作戦の正式名称はオーバーロード（大君主）作戦（Operation Overlord）。ナチス・ドイツによって占領された西ヨーロッパへの侵攻作戦であった。300万人近い兵員がドーバー海峡を渡ってフランスのコタンタン半島のノルマンディーに上陸した。史上最大の上陸作戦であり、作戦から60年が過ぎた現在でもこれを超える規模の上陸作戦は行われていない)

The flower and the barbed wire recall the history of Normandy. After France had been occupied by a German army in 1940, here became the base of resistance. People in Normandy took one's life in one's own hands and informed a British army of information on a German army. Allied Forces opened Paris on August 25 after 2 and a half months of the Normandy landing.
