Okinawa Marines received the first 1,000 units of the Corps' latest improvement in battlefield protection March 29-30, and initial reviews of the new Modular Tactical Vest suggest Marines throughout the Corps will soon be saying, "I want my MTV."
(沖縄のアメリカ海兵隊は1000着の最新型アーマーを３月29日から30日にかけて受け取った。新型 分立型タクティカルベストは、海兵隊用にと提案されたが、すぐさま、海兵隊は採用を許可した。）

Marines from Combat Logistics Battalion 4, Combat Logistics Regiment 3, 3rd Marine Logistics Group on Camp Foster were the first of about 60,000 Marines scheduled to receive the new body armor by October.（海兵隊第４，３戦闘工兵大隊、第３師団は60000人に新型のアーマーの支給を予定していた。）

Marines with Security Company, Combat Logistics Battalion 4, Combat Logistics Regiment 3, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, help each other configure their new Modular Tactical Vests before vest trainers inspect individual Marines for proper fit. It takes about three hours to train Marines to configure, wear and care for the MTV.
