イラクのある地域でマリーンの戦車2台と装甲車5台と行動中、敵の戦車部隊の待ち伏せにあい、戦車2台とも大破、装甲車3台大破し残りの装甲車はビビって離脱と笑いながら話し、ＣＪは持っていた対戦車ロケット『ドラゴン』で敵戦車のキャタピラ目掛けて打ち込み、敵戦車４台を撃破した。後の功績もあり、中尉になった。
しかし、あの時の出来事と昇格の件について、今でも彼らはもめると言っていた）

There was a suicide bombing in the vicinity of the court in Iraqi capital Bagdad on the fourth, ten people died, and 52 people were injured according to Associated Press. また、中部ラマディの警察当局者は、米軍機がラマディで家屋２軒を爆撃、１３人が死亡し、４人が負傷したと述べたが、駐留米軍当局者は空爆を否定した。
一方、米軍によると、首都中南部で４日、道路脇に仕掛けられた爆弾が米軍車両付近で爆発し、米兵２人が死亡した。
このほか、首都などで銃撃事件が相次ぎ、計６人が死亡した。)
