Green (green), yellow (yellow), the orange (bitter orange), and red (red) are the luminescence time of 12 hours, and blue (blue) and white (white) are the luminescence time of eight hours.
(米軍では夜間行動で使われている科学発光棒、長さは全て6inch(15cm)で色によって発光時間が異なる。使い方はいたって簡単。本体を袋から取り出して本体を折り曲げるだけ。本体の中に入っているガラス製のカプセルを割って、少々振る。すると本体の中にある液体と、ガラスカプセルの中に入っている液体が混ざって発光する。グリーン(緑)、イエロー(黄)、オレンジ(橙)、レッド(赤)は12時間の発光時間で、ブルー(青)、ホワイト(白)は8時間の発光時間となっている)
