Corporal Eric P. Eckel, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, finishes filling his ammunition magazine before firing on a rifle zeroing range. Eckel, 21, is a native of Staten Island, N.Y., and is an operations clerk in the MEU’s command element operations section. Eckel is currently tracking units during a bilateral training exercise in the Central Command theater of operation.
